Critical Social AI (CritSocAI) is a multidisciplinary research group founded in 2025 by graduate researchers and early career scholars at the National University of Singapore (NUS) to investigate how AI-based technologies are reconfiguring society and the way we study it.

With members from across the globe, we organize discussion sessions, collaborate on research papers, and host events to enrich human-centered, interdisciplinary approaches to AI.
